As my sufferings mounted I soon realized that there were two ways in which I could respond to my situation—either to react with bitterness or seek to transform the suffering into a creative force. I decided to follow the latter course.

Maybe the companies make more money if we react with bitterness. But there has to be a counterforce here. There has to be the possibility of creating a counter social network.

I just saw the Netflix doc the Social Dilemma. These platforms feed our bitterness and bring out the worst in us. What we need now is a new way forward, something radical. How do we do what King is saying? How do we "transform suffering into a creative force"?

You lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all.

Never succumb to the temptation of bitterness.
